Question:

43 Mr. Spring asked the Minister for Finance if his attention has been drawn to (a) allegations that the British security service attempted to make a deposit in an Irish bank as part of a dirty tricks campaign associated with a union in Britain and that the Irish bank allegedly refused to accept the transaction because of suspicion that the transaction was not genuine and (b) the fact that subsequent allegations that international donations to the union had been misused by officials of the union were connected with this incomplete transaction; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have no information on this matter.
