57 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will outline the safety measures in the filling and installation of LPG storage tanks fitted to motor vehicles and the checks which are made to ensure that fitting complies with regulations.

Responsibility for motor vehicle safety measures is a matter for the Minister for the Environment. I have no function in this matter.
