Question:193 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Justice if he will expedite a Land Registry dealing in the case of persons (details supplied) in County Cork as completion of same is urgently required.

I am informed by the Registrar of Title that the application referred to is a first registration pursuant to section 49 (2) of the Registration of Title Act, 1964. The documents in this case were lodged originally on 8 September 1982. Queries were issued on 14 January 1983 and failure to reply to these queries resulted in the withdrawal of the dealing on 9 September 1985.
The documents were relodged on 20 February 1990 and queries were issued to the solicitors on 25 May 1991. I am, informed by the registrar that registration will be expedited as soon as the queries have been resolved.
