Question:72 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Finance when a tax rebate will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that supporting documentation to claim a refund of tax, was received from the taxpayer on 21 April 1991.
PAYE balancing statements for the years 1988-89 and 1989-90, showing net overpayments of £450.22 and £480.22, respectively, issued to the taxpayer on 12 June 1991.
Cheques in these amounts, will issue within the next ten days.
