71 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education if she will examine the school transport service in an area (details supplied) in County Cork to see the improvements which can be carried out; and if her attention has been drawn to the hardship being imposed on the children availing of this service.

The issue raised by the Deputy has not previously been brought to my Department's attention. I intend to arrange for a full investigation into the quality of the service in the area.
