Vol. 410 No. 2

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

John V. Farrelly

Question:

144 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a house reconstruction grant was not paid to a person (details supplied) in County Meath having regard to the fact that he had the work completed before the finalisation of the grant.

There is no record of an application from the person named at the address given; there is, however, an application from a person with a different name from the same address. In that case, a grant was not paid as notification of completion of the approved works was not received by 31 May 1990, the final date for receipt of such notifications.

Charles Flanagan

Question:

145 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Laois whose case has been ongoing for over a year.

Eamon Gilmore

Question:

146 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a new house grant was not paid to a person (details supplied) in Killiney, County Dublin despite the fact that all the purchasers in the same housing estate were paid a new house grant.

There is no record of the receipt of an application for a new house grant from the person named at the address given.
