Vol. 410 No. 2

Written Answers. - Mobility Allowance.

Bernard Allen

Question:

163 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health when a decision will be made on the application by a person (details supplied) in Cork in October 1990 for a mobility pension.

I presume the Minister is referring to a mobility allowance payable to a disabled person. Payment of a mobility allowance in any individual case is a matter for the health board concerned. In this instance the Southern Health Board have approved the application for this allowance and payments will commence later this month.
