Question:

229 Mr. Moynihan asked the Minister for Education the present position in regard to the application for the carrying out of improvement works at Lissivigeen national school, County Kerry.

Tender documents for the replacement of windows and doors at Lissivigeen national school Co. Kerry were recently sent to the chairman of the board of management to enable him to seek tenders. Subject to the receipt of a suitable tender, the school authorities will be authorised to proceed with these works.

A new prefabricated classroom and improved heating, lighting, and plumbing systems have recently been provided at the school.
