234 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Education whether she has received an application from Cerebral Palsy Ireland for funds to support their trip to the United States this year for disabled athletes which is due to depart on 11 July 1991; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

An application has been received in my Department from Cerebral Palsy Ireland for financial assistance towards the cost of sending an Irish team to the USA to compete in the Victory Games in July 1991.

A grant will be approved this week.
