100 Mr. McCartan asked the Minister for Justice the number of recommendations conveyed to him by the Review Committee on Long Term Sentenced Prisoners to date; the number of these which he has acted upon; the number of cases for review by the committee; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
As I have previously indicated in reply to similar questions, the advice provided to me by the sentenced Review Group is confidential and I do not propose to make public details of the type requested in the question of the operations of the group or of the action taken by me in relation to cases on which the group provides me with advice.
