Vol. 411 No. 1

Written Answers. - Louth County Hospital Staff.

Dermot Ahern

Question:

527 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the Louth County Hospital has only one physician to cater for its complement of patients and who also covers for St. Oliver's Geriatric Hospital; if he has any plans to remedy this situation; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

This matter is the subject of ongoing discussions between the North-Eastern Health Board and my Department. I will inform the Deputy of the outcome of these discussions as soon as possible.
