662 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Education if she will outline the current position regarding the provisions of a new all-Irish national school at Ashbourne, County Meath; and the reason for the delay in inviting tenders for this project.
Tender documents for the proposed new national school for Gaelscoil na Cille, Ashbourne, County Meath have been completed. The question of the invitation of tenders for the project will arise for consideration in the context of the 1992 capital allocation for primary school buildings. It is not possible to say at this point when tenders will be invited for the project.
