Question:

721 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications if he will outline in respect of each semi-State or other body submitting an annual report to his Department, the date on which the 1990 annual report was (a) received by him, (b) laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas and (c) circulated to Members where applicable.

The annual reports of CIE and the Broadcasting Complaints Commission are expected to be laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas in the near future.
The Comptroller and Auditor General is still examining the accounts for 1990 for Bord Fáilte and RTE and consequently their respective annual reports for 1990 cannot be finalised until the Comptroller and Auditor General has completed his examination.
The B&I Line plc and the Independent Radio and Television Commission are currently finalising their 1990 annual reports.
