Question:

100 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Justice if he will give a breakdown of the number of reported crimes under the following headings (1) common assault, (2) assault occasioning actual bodily harm, (3) larceny from cars, (4) larceny from the person including handbag snatching, (5) burglary, (6) aggravated burglary, (7) armed robbery, (8) sexual assault, (9) drug possession, (10) drug possession with intent to supply and (11) forgery at (a) Dún Laoghaire (b) Rathfarnham (c) Clontarf (d) Howth (e) Crumlin (f) Blanchardstown (g) Fitzgibbon Street and (h) Kilmainham Garda Stations for the years 1989 and 1990 and in a typical week during 1991; if he will further outline the pecentage of these crimes which were committed by juveniles; the way in which these figures compare with the national average; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
