I am informed by the registrar of companies that, in the normal course, having followed certain procedures and believing that the company was no longer trading, the registrar struck off the name of the company to which the Deputy refers and the company was dissolved by notice in Iris Oifigiúil on 29 June 1990. Since incorporation in 1985, the company had failed to submit an annual return as required under the Companies Acts. I understand that the company's solicitor contacted the registrar in July 1991. Once the company fulfils its legal obligation to submit returns, there are procedures to restore it to the register. I am informed that these returns are still outstanding.
