It is hoped to have this application determined shortly. If the applicant is found to be eligible payment will be made as soon as possible.
117 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a ewe premium grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

The first instalment of the 1991 ewe premium will be paid to the persons named within the next two weeks.
118 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the current position regarding a suckler cow grant for a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if payment can be expected before the end of October.
The registered herd owner and applicant in this case is the father of the person named.
Payment to that applicant under the 1990 suckler cow premium scheme for small-scale milk producers will be made as soon as payments under that scheme commence in November 1991.

This applicant has already been paid his grant under the 1990 special beef premium scheme. There was no particular delay in payment.
