Vol. 411 No. 8

Written Answers. - Haematology/Oncology Unit.

Tony Gregory

Question:

100 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Health if he has any plans to provide funding to St. James's Hospital, Dublin 8, for their clinical haematology/ oncology unit to replace the existing old and poorly maintained areas and provide modern day treatment with up-to-date facilities; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The provision of funds to build and equip a new haematology/oncology unit at St. James's Hospital will be considered in the context of the capital funds which will be available to my Department in 1992.
