103 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Justice when the urgent renovations will be carried out to the Garda station in Cashel, County Tipperary; if he will provide details on the proposed repairs; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The intention is to have certain urgent renovation works carried out in Cashel Garda station before the end of the year. The works involved are redecoration of the public office and lobby, upgrading of the counter screen, the entrance door to the lobby and the cell, redecoration of the kitchen, fitting of a shower unit and change of location of the toilet.
Further works will be carried out at a later stage but it is not possible, at this time, to indicate when these will commence.
