106 Mr. Ryan asked the Minister for the Environment if his attention has been drawn to the high number of fatal accidents on the N1 at Balrothery, Balbriggan, County Dublin; and if in the light of this he will sanction the request from Dublin County Council for the necessary finance to provide public lighting from Balrothery to Balbriggan.
Proposals from Dublin County Council for the provision of public lighting at Balrothery junction on the N1, between the village of Balrothery and Balbriggan, have been considered in my Department. To allow the matter to be further examined, the council were requested on 16 August 1991 to submit additional detailed information. Further consideration will be given to the proposal on receipt of this information.
