Vol. 412 No. 7

Written Answers. - Tax-Free Allowance.

Paul Bradford

Question:

45 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Finance when a tax free allowance certificate will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the inspector of taxes, who dealt with the taxpayer's affairs prior to cessation of his last employment, has no record of a request for a current tax-free allowance certificate. The inspector has issued a Form 12 to the taxpayer and on receipt of this form an up-to-date tax-free allowance certificate will issue.
