Question:

78 Mr. Belton asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a cattle headage payment will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Longford.

This applicant's payments under the 1991 cattle and equines headage, suckler cow premium and special beef premium schemes are being processed at present. If found in order they will be paid as soon as possible after payments commence under all schemes in December 1991.

Question:

79 Mr. Moynihan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will investigate the delay in payment of a headage grant to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

This applicant has been requested to submit documentary evidence of all lands rented by him during 1990 and 1991. When he does so his applications for grants under the 1990 and 1991 cattle and equines headage schemes will be processed further.
