Written Answers. - Testing of Patients of Traffic Accidents.

Question:

123 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for the Environment the up to date position regarding plans to introduce compulsory blood and urine sampling on patients after road traffic accidents; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

This matter is being considered in the context of proposals for amendments of the Road Traffic Acts which are currently being finalised in my Department.
