Vol. 413 No. 5

Written Answers. - Ranelagh (Dublin) Psychiatric Hospital.

Michael Creed

Question:

176 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Health the steps she proposes to take to improve facilities at the psychiatric hospital at Mount Pleasant, Ranelagh, Dublin 6.

I understand that the Eastern Health Board are currently relocating psychiatric services previously provided at Mount Pleasant, Ranelagh, Dublin 6.

A clinical headquarters for the sector has been transferred to Vergemount Clinic in Clonskeagh and the day hospital has been relocated to a newly opened premises called Glenmalure on Milltown Road, Dublin 4. Further accommodation to relocate the two medium support hostels is being currently sought by the health board.
