Question:64 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Finance if a VAT rebate due to a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim will now be made.

I am advised by the Revenue Commissioners that a VAT repayment due to the taxpayer concerned has been offset, in part, against VAT due for previous periods.
A cheque for the balance of the claim issued to the taxpayer on Friday, 22 November 1991.
