Question:

95 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive payment of his cattle headage grant.

This applicant's payments under the 1991 cattle and equines headage schemes are being processed at present and if found in order will be made as soon as possible.

William Cotter

Question:

96 Mr. Cotter asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a control of farmyard pollution grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Monaghan; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Austin Deasy

Question:

97 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason for the delay in payment of headage grants to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford; and when payment will issue.

There has been no delay in making payments under the 1991 sheep and goat headage schemes. These grants will be paid to the person named at an early date.

He did not apply for cattle headage grants.

98 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason for the delay in payment of reactor grants to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford in view of the severe financial hardship resulting from this delay; and when payment will issue.

The reactor grants due to the person named have been paid.

99 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when payment of a suckler cow subsidy will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford.

The file in this case is with the field staff of my Department at present and as soon as it comes to hand, I will ascertain the position and contact the Deputy.
