Question:

109 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Energy if he will have tests carried out for radon levels on the house of a person (details supplied) in County Mayo who has been medically advised that radon is a factor in her persistent ill-health.

The Nuclear Energy Board provide, for a very modest fee, a radon testing service for any household who wishes to avail of this service. In this case I understand that the board will shortly contact the person in question to arrange for a radon test of her house.
