62 Mr. M. Higgins asked the Minister for the Environment when the Bill on waste management, mentioned by the Minister for State at his Department, during the course of the debate on the Environment Protection Agency Bill, 1990, will be published.

Work on the preparation of proposals for a Waste Bill has reached an advanced stage in my Department but I cannot say, at this stage, when the Bill is likely to be published.
