73 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Health if she will outline the recommendations which were made in the recent report submitted to her Department on the effect of the recent rota for accident and emergency departments in Dublin hospitals; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
There is a regular flow of information between the hospitals, the steering group on accident and emergency services and my Department. Since the revised arrangements were put in place on 2 September 1991 my Department have been carefully monitoring the situation and I hope to meet the hospital authorities concerned as soon as possible to discuss the operation of the new rota.
