85 Mr. Pattison asked the Minister for Education the steps he intends to take to allow primary teachers in permanent posts to exchange with other primary teachers in permanent posts in other schools; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
My Department are currently considering a joint proposal for a pilot scheme of teacher exchange for permanent national teachers, submitted by the Irish National Teachers Organisation and the Catholic Primary School Managers Association. I expect to be able to respond to this proposal in the very near future.
