Question:96 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for Education if he will outline the up-to-date position regarding the extension plan for Laghey national school in County Donegal.

Tenders for the proposed extension to Laghey national school County Donegal have been received and examined in my Department. The question of the placing of the contract for the project will be considered in the context of the 1992 budgetary situation and a decision on the matter will be conveyed to the school authorities at the earliest date.
