Question:

75 Mrs. Fennell asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will outline in respect of his Department (1) the number of Government contracts which are in force (2) whether all contracts are renewed each year and (3) if all contracts are granted as a result of tendering to the most competitive estimate.

Contracts are made by my Department in accordance with standard procedures. These include Government procedures for contracts and EC rules.
