Question:

125 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for Education the number of primary schools in County Donegal which have applications with his Department for (1) new school buildings, (2) extensions to existing buildings and (3) major repair works and refurbishment of existing buildings; and if he will give (i) the name and location of each school in each category and (ii) the present position of each application.

The detailed information requested by the Deputy is not readily available in my Department. Its compilation would necessitate an inordinate amount of official time which would not be warranted having regard to the large volume of more urgent work on hands.

If the Deputy requires any information in relation to an individual project I will gladly give to to him.
