Vol. 414 No. 9

Written Answers. - Land Commission Case.

Liam Aylward

Question:

68 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will make arrangements for an official from the Land Commission to call on a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny as soon as possible to resolve the difficulties which this person is having with them.

This matter has been the subject of repeated discussions over a long period of time culminating in an offer by the Land Commission to contribute towards the cost of the fencing work concerned if the person in question carried out the work. The Land Commission are awaiting the completion of the work before making their contribution. Meantime, there is nothing to be gained by having an inspector call to discuss the matter further.
