Donal Carey

Question:

3 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Clare will be paid her beef cow premium; and when the file was passed from the Ennis office of his Department.

Payments due to this applicant under the 1991 beef cow and equines headage and suckler cow premium schemes are being processed at present and will be made shortly. Her file was passed from the Ennis office on 10 December 1991.

Question:

4 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Clare will be paid his agricultural grants; and when the file was passed from the Ennis Office.

Payments due to this applicant under the 1991 sheep headage scheme and first and second instalments of the 1991 ewe premium scheme have been made already. The third and final instalment of the ewe premium scheme will be paid in March/April when the EC Commission fixes the level of that instalment. Payment due to him under the 1991 cattle and equines headage scheme is being processed and will issue shortly. His file was passed for payment on 22 January 1992.

He has been deemed ineligible for grants under the 1991 special beef premium scheme because he listed a female animal on his application.

Question:

5 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive payment of her cattle headage grant for 1991.

My Department is unable to trace any 1991 cattle headage, suckler cow or special beef premium schemes applications from the person named.

Tom Enright

Question:

6 Mr. Enright asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will expedite payment of a calf subsidy due to a person (details supplied) in County Laois; if he will outline the progress made to date in regard to this application; and when payment will be made.

The last year of the calf premium scheme was 1989 and the person named was paid his grants in respect of that scheme on 5 March 1990.

7 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) will be paid his suckler cow premium; and when the file was passed from the Ennis office of his Department.

This person's application for grants under the 1991 suckler cow premium scheme is being processed at present and if found in order payment will issue to him shortly. His file has not yet been passed by the Ennis office.

His application for grants under the 1991 cattle and equines headage scheme will be considered further when he supplies documentary evidence of lands rented by him.
