Question:

28 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Energy the reason for the delay in having an application for electricity supply under the disadvantaged areas scheme processed for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny where the application has been made for the past four months.

The application in respect of the named person has not yet been received in my Department.

I have asked the ESB to expedite the processing of it and as soon as it is received it will be dealt with promptly and the applicant will be advised of the outcome.
