Question:178 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Health when he will give permission for the erection of a health centre at Leenane, County Galway; and if funds have been provided for this.
Written Answers. - County Galway Proposed Health Centre.
I am aware that a new health centre is needed to serve the Leenane area, and the provision of such a centre is high on the Western Health Board's priority list. However having regard to the limited capital funds available I am not in a position at present to say when work on the new health centre is likely to commence. I am keeping the situation under review.
