Question:132 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Justice if he will give details of the number of parking fines imposed in (a) 1990 and (b) 1991.

I am informed by the Garda authorities that 449,649 on-the-spot parking "fine" notices were issued in 1990. Figures for 1991 are not yet available.
