Question:323 Mr. Leyden asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in regard to the provision of lighting on a route (details supplied) in County Roscommon.
Written Answers. - Road Grant Allocations.
It was not possible to provide a grant for this project in 1991 due to the competing demands for finance for other road projects. I hope shortly to be in a position to notify local authorities of their road grant allocations for 1992. In the meantime, I cannot comment on the possibility for an allocation for any particular project.
