Question:325 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline the money allocated to each housing authority for each of the years 1988 to 1991 under section 5 of the Housing Act, 1988.

Advance allocations of funds for voluntary housing projects under section 5 of the Housing Act, 1988 are not made to local authorities. Funding for individual projects is approved, within the resources available, on a case by case basis, on receipt from the housing authority of confirmation that the project complies with the conditions of the scheme.
