Question:32 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will change the existing regulations to enable farmers to sell part of their milk quota.
Written Answers. - Milk Quotas.
The entire milk quota system is presently being reviewed by the EC Council of Ministers with a view to having a revised system in operation with effect from 1 April 1992. Among the various amendments which I will be seeking to the present regulations is that provision be made for the restructuring of part-quotas. The request is in keeping with one of the recommendations of the milk quota review group which I have accepted.
