60 Mr. Kirk asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will outline, (1) the total grant aid provided under, (a) the FEOGA grant scheme and (b) OPRD for, (1) potato projects and (2) horticulture projects, from 1987 to 1991 inclusive.
The total grant aid awarded under FEOGA processing and marketing grant scheme during the period 1987 to 1991 was £5.8 million for potato projects and £6.4 million for horticultural projects.
The total grant aid approved under the Operational Programme for Rural Development (OPRD) for the same period was £2.1 million for potato projects and £1.6 million for horticultural ones.
