Vol. 416 No. 7

Written Answers. - County Clare Water Schemes.

Donal Carey

Question:

95 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for the Environment if he will sanction the small schemes application by Clare County Council for funds which will help to join the Ennis water supply to the Kiloo/Doora water scheme from Culligans Cross to Moloneys Cross at Skehanagh, Clarecastle, County Clare because the residents are experiencing a totally inadequate service at present which is causing cut-offs and great inconvenience.

Having regard to the existing level of commitments under the water and sanitary services programme, I am not in a position to indicate when there will be a decision on the Doora/ Clarecastle scheme.
