Dinny McGinley

Question:

241 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for the Environment if his attention has been drawn to the problems caused in the Donegal town area due to flooding in the River Eske; and if he will provide a special allocation to have the river cleaned in order to relieve this problem.

A proposal has been received by my Department from Donegal County Council for a scheme to alleviate flooding of the River Eske at Donegal town. Additional details of the proposal are now awaited from the county council.
