Vol. 417 No. 2

Written Answers. - Departmental Advisers.

John V. Farrelly

Question:

132 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Health if he will outline the following details in respect of the advisers appointed by his Department: (a) salary, (b) conditions of employment, (c) pension entitlements/annuities, (d) travelling expenses and (e) specific duties to be performed by these people; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I presume the Deputy is referring to special advisers rather than civil servants permanently employed in my Department in accordance with standard terms and conditions of employment. I have not appointed a special adviser.
