432 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will give details of the extent of the assistance being given by his Department to a group (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he has satisfied himself that this assistance is a satisfactory response to the ongoing needs of the group.
My Department operate a scheme of grants to voluntary social service organisations. No application under this scheme appears to have been received from the organisation in question.
The 1992 scheme was recently advertised in the national papers. Information on the scheme, together with an application form, has been forwarded to the organisation.
