Question:74 Mr. Ryan asked the Minister for Finance the reason for the delay in the valuation of a property for a person (details supplied) in County Dublin for stamp duty purposes; and when this process will be completed.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the question of the value of the property was referred to the Commissioner of Valuation for an opinion.
The valuation report has now been completed and was forwarded yesterday to the office of the Revenue Commissioners. An assessment to stamp duty will be issued this week.
