214 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for the Environment the number of recycling centres and other organisations which received the £1.1 million capital grants administered by the Department of the Environment for recycling projects, that are still in operation.
In the three years ended 31 December 1991 grant assistance was made available by my Department to a total of 28 recycling projects, including two local authority projects. According to latest information, 23 of these projects are currently in operation; one project has subsumed an earlier one.
