Vol. 418 No. 7

Written Answers. - Non-Contributory Pension Application.

Michael Creed

Question:

331 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Social Welfare if a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be approved for an old age non-contributory pension.

The claim by the person concerned for an old age non-contributory pension — which was made this month — is currently being investigated. The social welfare officer is expected to interview the claimant in this regard shortly.

On completion of the necessary inquiries, her entitlement will be decided and she will be notified of the outcome without delay.
