Vol. 418 No. 9

Written Answers. - Free School Transport.

John V. Farrelly

Question:

89 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Education if the concessionary status of a person (details supplied) in County Meath will be reviewed so that this person could be picked up by the school bus in Nobber and travel free of charge to his local school due to his circumstances; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The child's parent should apply to the local office of Bus Éireann who are the appointed agents for the operation of the school bus service.

Bus Éireann will take account of all the circumstances in determining eligibility.
