139 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for the Environment if arrangements have yet been completed with local authorities regarding the disbursement of national lottery funds in 1992; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I take it that the question relates to payments under the amenities/recreational facilities grants scheme. Payments to local authorities on foot of allocations made under this scheme in earlier years will be made in 1992 according as work is carried out on individual projects and local authorities submit the necessary requests for payment to my Department. There is no provision in my Department's Vote for new allocations in 1992 under the scheme.
